Several Versions of the 2018 BMW 3 Series

The ultimate engine in the lineup is the 3.0-litre turbo six-cylinder engine found in the BMW 340i. This engine offers 320 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, and can reach 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds.

Despite this remarkable power, the BMW 340i has an average fuel consumption rating of only 9.3 litres per 100 kilometres thanks to BMW's Efficient Dynamics technology. Several other versions are available too. You can opt for the BMW 320i and its 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, which develops 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque.

In between, there’s the BMW 328i that offers a 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder engine and delivers 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. For many, the 328i is the perfect in-between.
